preschool starter pack
These are some of the items we've researched and relied on in our transition to preschool:
- Backpack: toddlers are still really small and a full-sized backpack can really overwhelm a tiny body. I love the Fjällräven Kånken Mini because it's a reasonable size (you can actually fit things inside, but it's not too huge).
- Labels: Mabel's Labels are far and away the best labels we've found. They come in a variety of sizes (I love the mini size) and can withstand trips through the washing machine and dishwasher.
- Lunchbox: I love PlanetBox lunch boxes, which are made of stainless steel and have compartments of various sizes to keep foods separate. They are on the more expensive side, but they are high quality and I so prefer metal to plastic.
- Water Bottle: You want something that is easy for your preschooler to open and close on his/her own, that will keep water cold, and that isn't prone to spills. I like the PlanetBox BottleRocket and Thermos Foogo.
